If your existing booking meets the hotelier's new flex policy for refundability and it is at least 24 hours ahead of check-in, you will see an updated booking status on Egencia. If your booking is non-refundable, or if the hotelier policies have not been updated, you will continue to see non-refundable, non-changeable status.
As the COVID-19 crisis continues, some hotels are either required to or are choosing to temporarily close. Egencia is taking proactive measures to minimize travel disruptions resulting from hotel closures.
On the hotel search page, properties with availability will be displayed at the top of your search results, and closed properties will appear below them marked as NO RATES AVAILABLE. For travelers with an upcoming booking at a hotel that we know is scheduled to be closed during their stay, Egencia will inform the travelers directly via email or through travel alerts available in the Egencia app.
